Super Sonic Knockout is a non-profit Sonic the Hedgehog fan-game that originally started production in 2006. After the somewhat success of my first completed game
Sonic Knockout, it was time to work on something better. SSK is a fan-game that focuses more on precision combat and platforming action rather than speed, as well as giving players plenty to have fun with.
In 2007 I joined the
Sonic Cage Dome to become part of the Sonic Technical Institute, a small fangaming base for the SCD. SSK is the longest running project for the team.
By December 2008, programming was becoming more difficult since the 3 year old system and was showing its age. It was time to start fresh with all the experience I have gained. The 2009 engine is the first complete re-write of the game boasting features that were previously written off, meaning you will get the experience I planned from the start.
