[11/06/15: SSK DEMO 5.3 HOTFIX RELEASED!]

DEMO 5 IS BACK! WITH A PATCH?
So, I noticed that for whatever reason the SSK Demo 5.1 download vanished from the website. I don't know how and I'm sorry that I didn't notice it until very recently. As a result I decided to use the time to give Demo 5.1 a bug-fix... over 3 years after the first patch. So now we have:

DEMO 5.2! Now available to download!
Click the Latest Demo link!

This is a bug-fix build only, so there is no new content. The major bug I managed to fix is game breaking that kills Nonstop Mode. Several character's attacks and Chaos Attacks have also been fixed up, and you can see the folder's README for more details.

If there are any issues with Demo 5.2, you can comment here or on the SSK Facebook Page where I'm more likely to notice quickly!

i'm trying to load the game on windows 8.1 but for whatever reason demo ver 5.3 keeps telling me that it's having trouble defining an external function

I'm mainly using this game to relax now, so don't worry about me. As for Shadow, trying to fit him into the story I had planned meant nothing but filler. I have other plans for him though.

@Bryan:
AI Programming is difficult and I personally see a lot of improvement is needed for SSK's AI code. Unfortunately I'm too busy to help you. I can only hope you eventually figure it out.

Hey VV its been a while how are things? i hope you're doing good. but hey VV reason im commenting on is because well before i ask ive been trying to make my own fighting game but as you can imagine no one on the net knows how to code ai for a fighting game oh and before i go any further. i know you're a busy guy "sorry if i spelled busy wrong" and you told me a while back that you can't make a fighting game tutorial and i said i understood but im dessprate again sorry for the bad spelling i need help and believe it or not ive looked on the net youtube tutoials and still nothing. VV if you can please make a basic or intermediate ai tutorial please i wouldn't ask if i didn't need help.

It's a big project and I'm not sure if it's still a good thing for you to continue. Though I would enjoy another small release with a playable Volcan and some more story stages, I would also suggest to add Shadow playable in story mode like in the first Sonic Knockout.

The problem you're describing is, I believe, a sound or script related bug that comes up only on Windows 8.0 machines. The bug is difficult for me to test, but I will make sure these compatibility issues are fixed for a hot-fix in the future.

Im super impressed that this game is in the works still, its a bit nostalgic from my Yoyo Games days. I found an old build saved on my computer and I was curious to see progress. Anyway, I dont know if this is really a place to put bugs, but whenever a wall is destroyed I seem to get a crash. Its a big progress halting considering I can't pass the second stage of the story. Any ideas?
